
Ed Sauls
Ed Sauls leads Jackson Thornton's Valuation and Litigation consulting group.
This group offers business valuation services along with litigation support for professional firms and courts.
Sauls' dedication to his area of practice is evidenced by his commitment to continuing education. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst and holds the ABV (Accredited Business Valuation) certification as well as CFFA (Certified Forensic Financial Analyst) and CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics) designations.
Sauls is a past board member and chairman of the National Kidney Foundation. He is a Leadership Montgomery alumnus as well as past president of the Montgomery Lions Club, of which he is a current board member.
Sauls is a graduate of the University of Alabama. He is also a member of the Culverhouse School of Accountancy Professional Advisory Board, University of Alabama.
Sauls holds professional memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jason Wells
Jason Wells joined the Business Valuation and Litigation Consulting Group in 2001. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Birmingham Southern College in 1998 and a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000.
Wells’ commitment to his field is evidenced by his pursuit of continuing education. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Wells is a Certified Valuation Analyst, Certified in Financial Forensics, and Accredited in Business Valuation. Wells is affiliated with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Montgomery Estate Planning Council.
Wells has primarily specialized in the valuation of operating companies in such industries as auto dealerships, nursing homes, professional services and manufacturing. He also has litigation experience in the areas of business interruption, lost profits, loss of business value, damage computation, partner dispute and large data cases.
Allison Guice
Allison Guice joined the Business Valuation and Litigation Consulting Group in 2006. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration from Auburn University Montgomery.
Guice has earned the designations of Certified Public Accountant, Certified Valuation Analyst and Accredited in Business Valuation. She provides valuations for closely held businesses in preparation for sale, acquisition, liquidation, estate planning and other planning purposes. She also has litigation experience in the areas of personal and commercial damage computation.
Leigh Ann Ramsey
Leigh Ann Ramsey is a business valuation consultant with Jackson Thornton’s Business Valuation and Litigation Consulting group, where she specializes in estate planning and business valuations of family limited partnerships and limited liability companies as they relate to estate and gift tax returns. She holds the designation of Accredited Valuation Analyst. Ramsey earned a BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Sarah Russell
Sarah Russell joined the Business Valuation and Litigation Consulting Group in 2008. She served previously with an engineering firm in Atlanta, where she gained valuable litigation experience. Russell earned her Bachelor degree in Biomedical Science from Auburn University. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration from Auburn University Montgomery with a concentration in accounting.
Ashley Taylor
Ashley Taylor joined the Business Valuation and Litigation Consulting Group in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Auburn University Montgomery. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration from Auburn University Montgomery.
Taylor is an active member of the American Cancer Society's Junior Executive Board as well as EMERGE Montgomery Young Professional Network. Taylor is a Student Affiliate of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an Associate Member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
